The tiger blanket

The necessary equipment

• stomach: soft fabric for plush
• the back and the head of the orange jersey (I get T-shirt right to left for the jersey ...)
• scratches, cheeks and ears of the black felt
• eyes: green jersey or felt (I used the jersey, it's much easier with the baize!) < li> From stuffing to cushion the head.

  The body

  Download, print and cut the patron of the body pdf format.
  jersey Fold in half, pin 1 / 2 operator on the jersey, cut, leaving about 1 cm for seams.
  Now cut stripes in black felt and sew them onto the body of your tiger (the orange jersey what ...). I have machine sewn with a zigzag. I did not make the templates scratches, you see roughly what length you want and they have cut direct you hop!
  Return the jersey on the back, see the boss with a chalk or a pencil type B5 (fat).
  Then your pin striped jersey fabric on the 'plush' and cut it the same size as the jersey.

  

  Sew place against the place and the jersey fabric plush following traits that you have drawn on the jersey, leaving a small hole 10 cm from the side of the head. If you sew in full, you will have a blanket in reverse ... yes, we must now return, like a sock.
  Close the body with a sewing machine, straight ... all that is normal, anyway, there will be the head of the tiger which will hide this little scar!
  There is more than sewing claws on the legs, ie 2 or 3 seams straight.

  La tête

  Download the boss of the various elements of the head , print and cut.
  Almost everything is split into two copies, it is shown on the pdf you downloaded! You pin and cut out the good in the various tissue elements before proceeding to the assembly.

  Ears

  It should be sewing inside the ears in orange jersey on the black felt, by tucking the edges of the jersey for not only the fabric s'éfiloche. Then, as the seams are on the back of the ear, sews on the back of the ear black felt ... not easy to explain, look at the pictures ...

  

  

  Eyes

  It must first sewing almond black wards on the green fabric.

  

  The assembly

  Sewing on one side of the head the ears, cheeks and eyes. Draw the mouth and nose with chalk or pencil, before the embroidery.

  

  Sew the front and back of the head location of a place against your ear to the other (the bottom of the head). Back as a sock, stuff and finish sewing.
  

  

  Sew the head on the body of the tiger.

  The tail

  Cut a rectangle of orange jersey of the length of the tail about 10 cm. Roll the rectangle into itself, pin and sew (by hand, I see no alternatives ...). Then cut stripes in black felt, sew them on the orange pudding is in the process of turning into tiger tail.
  Cut a rectangle of black felt 3cm on 10cm (approx. ..), make fringe and roll into sausage. To sew the fringe width (three points to hold) before the sewing at the end of the tail.
  There is just sew the tail on the back of the tiger.

  

  

  And voilà! The blanket is finished! Check that there are no pin, made him take a bath in the washing machine if you feel like it and you can give the happy toddler!

  Ideas for other animals ...

  One can imagine this on any kind of smiling and cuddly animals. Especially if you bought the plush fabric, you're probably enough to make a lot of doudous ...
  Moreover, I also made a blanket lion ... with a beautiful mane felt!
